Warm chocolate and Amaretto pudding

This is a lovely simple dessert that you can make and it is so easy and taste so good hot or cold and impresses whoever you show. Also if you wanted you could use brandy or rum if you do not like Amaretto, but who does not like Amaretto. This is the kind of thing you can make when you are not really confident at making desserts as well.

You will need
500ml/18floz milk
1tbsp plain flour
2tbsp caster sugar
1 vanilla pod,
80ml/2½floz Amaretto
100g/3½oz dark chocolate
50g/2oz unsalted butter
30g/1oz amaretti biscuits

Start by getting your milk and warming it on a low heat. Then take your vanilla pod split it and remove the seed and then put them in a bowl with the sugar and flour.

Melt the butter in another sauce pan and then add the sugar flour and vanilla mix to the butter and make a bit of a roux. Now slowly add the milk a little at a time and let it all cook into each other so you have a rich sweet vanilla sauce. Then add the Amaretto and let that cook in to the sauce.

Now remove it from the stove top and add the chocolate. Best way to do this is with the chocolate broken up in to nice small bits. This way it melt quickly in to the sauce.

Then in the bottom of a glass place an amaretti biscuit and spoon some of the mixture over that and top with some more crushed amaretti biscuit. If you are going to have it cold then you can add a little grated chocolate as well if you like .

And that is that, nothing more complicated that a Chocolate sauce over biscuits really but it really taste nice .
