The Home Cook’sMust Have Family Heirloom

Your very own personalised Cook Book from www.bathtubadmiral.co.uk

Where did I put our favourite Valentines Day recipe?

Does anyone know where the recipe for Great Grandma’s date and honey bars went?

Did Dad really put 50 cloves of garlic in the Roast Chicken?

Now all your foodie memories and favourite recipes can be stored in one place, carefully preserved and ready to savour in your own beautifully bound cook book printed by www.bathtubadmiral.co.uk . Your personalised cook book also makes a fantastic heirloom that can combine favourite family memories and recipes for your children to recreate once they’ve flown the nest and ultimately pass down to their own children, keeping family recipes alive for generations to come.

Bathtub Admiral’s bespoke software lets you design, write and create your own cook book storing your images and data until you are ready to print. The easy-to-use preformatted books enable you to compile an author’s forward and chapter heading pages, and on request Bathtub can add conversion tables page for you. Just add your own recipes, photos and copy, and you’re ready to print. And as new recipes and memories are created the book can be easily updated and reprinted. Simon Coote, founder of Bathtub Admiral says: “Both my wife and I are enthusiastic home cooks and we both have family recipes handed down to us by our own parents and grandparents that we use and are now our children’s favourites too. The original handwritten recipes were becoming dog-eared and food splattered, and we realised that we were going to lose these precious and personal memories if we didn’t preserve them.

“We’d already developed ‘My First Baby Book’ and it was a simple step to devise the cook book. Combining recipes with photographs, family history and anecdotes makes this a fantastic personal heirloom that has pure sentimental meaning to us all.”

What can I put in my book? Upload your photos, scans and type or copy and paste from existing documents with your own text and personal messages. Customise your book with different fonts, templates, photo borders and masks, backgrounds and clipart. Once registered for a Bathtub Admiral account they will store your photos and book, as long as you continue to use the account.

Scan in hand written recipes with an image of the author or torn out recipes saved from favourite magazines. Type in trusted dinner party and celebration favourites and upload a digital image of the occasion. For recipes handed down from generation to generation scan photographs, a lovely way to preserve old photographs with some personal information about them. Why not handwrite and scan in the favourite weaning recipes that your children enjoyed?

Available in two sizes, A4 (210x300) in spiral bound and 195x255 available in Perfect and Spiral Binding.
