The “Chafo” from Eco-burner
July 2012
The “Chafo” from Eco-burner, the Ultimate Alternative to Traditional Heating Methods.
Eco-burner has launched a
revolutionary new product that will overcome many issues associated with
heating chafing dishes for buffets, conferences and events. The new Chafo burner is safer, cleaner, gives
greater control and is less wasteful than traditional gels and wicks. Furthermore, it can save caterers up to 30%
on their total heating costs.
The new Chafo burner boasts an ergonomic dial that varies
the intensity of the heat, whilst a patented safety device ensures that should
the burner be dropped and over turned, the flame will instantaneously
extinguish. The new Chafo burner is a
drop-in replacement for all your gel and wick burners that heats up in just 2
minutes, at which point can be set to burn for between 5-8 hours.
Furthermore, with an additional
safety feature that extinguishes the flame should the chafing dish become dry,
Chafo from Eco-burner really does bring the control back into your hands.
Lawrence Rippon, National Sales &
Marketing Manager for Eco-burner explains more about the new product:
“Unlike gel and wick burners, which become hot to
the touch when lit and can spill flaming gel when knocked over, the Chafo is
cool to the touch and completely controllable.
Utilising a safety valve to cut the flame if tipped or dropped and an
auto cut-off feature should the chafing dish boil dry, it is a very safe way to
heat a multitude of foods.”
The Chafo burner uses
a specially designed fuel (available direct from Eco-burner) and is easily
refilled from a recyclable aerosol canister after each use. The fuel itself is
odourless and smokeless, which whilst reducing the blackening on the bottom of
chafing dishes, ensures a more comfortable dining environment.
The Chafo burner can be ordered from Eco-burner
representatives across the UK and comes with a comprehensive package of
training along with a next day replacement warranty.
