The Brew House
One farm, one
variety, brewed three ways: The Brew House, Porthleven, has re-opened for 2014
The Brew
House, Porthleven’s answer to the ultimate speciality coffee experience has
re-opened for 2014. Open every day from 10am – 5pm, The Brew House is an
extension of Origin Coffee’s roastery in Helston.
The cool
coffee coop is perched idyllically on the harbour front and is headed up by
Barista Will Pitts.
Especially
for the re-opening, Origin Coffee has an exclusive coffee on offer.
Innovatively leading the way in coffee brewing, you will find one farm, one
variety, processed three ways at The Brew House. The fresh crop Nicaraguan
coffee, Fincas Mierisch, is only available for a limited time with just 6kg of
each process to try. This Red Pacamara varietal is a guest coffee and has been
exclusively sourced for Dan Fellows specifically for the UK Barista
Championships on 6th April.
Not just for
the coffee enthusiast the seasonal specials in The Brew House include The
Fabulous Baker Brothers’ pastries, sausage rolls from Ann’s Pasties and
homemade cakes.
Offering
contemporary coffee in an inclusive experience, Head Barista Will makes it easy
to try something new with recommendations from UK Barista champions, free
taster sessions and advice on how to recreate yourfavourites at home using
their home-brewing kit.
The Brew
House is open daily from 10am – 5pm with evening courses and more taster
sessions planned. These will be made available and will be kept updated on
their website and Facebook. Origin Coffee is the roaster of choice for four of
the 20 top baristas competing in the UK Coffee Championships 2014. Fresh crop
seasonal coffee is also available to purchase online via the website.
