Ping Pong Launches Fashionable New Look Restaurant At
London’s First Designer Outlet 'Village'
Hungry shoppers flocking to the newly opened London Designer
Outlet will be able to satisfy their appetite at Ping Pong’s newest restaurant
in the capital, opening in December.
The new look reminiscent of the urban side of 1930s Shanghai
chic has splashes of paprika red, jade green and charcoal grey and is
guaranteed to whisk memories away from the nearby hustle and bustle.
From the more elegant new furniture and bar stools to
custom-made artwork, lighting and panelling, this is a look masterminded by new
designers. The concept takes reference from the intriguing and traditional side
of old China – with the inclusion of an old street scene to the bold iconic
artworks on the walls.
The dim sum counter has been bought forward to the front of
the restaurant so customers perch around the lit up counter watching their dim
sum being prepared in front of them and stacked in the giant steamers, adding
authenticity to the dining experience. The tea bar – with copper tea pots
stacked high on timber shelves alongside boxes of tea piled one on top of
another.
Moreover, the cocktail bar cladded with fractured wall
panels situated near the entrance makes this an enviable destination for
customers to indulge in the kind of artesian cocktails that Ping Pong is known
for.
Art Sagiryan, CEO of Ping Pong, says: “The opening of
Wembley Park marks Ping Pong’s continued successful eight years in business.
Wembley will open with new Ping Pong branding and design and I am very excited
to see this come to life at such an exciting location.”
Celebrated for the range of Chinese teas and cocktails as
much as the dim sum, the Wembley Park restaurant launches alongside a new menu
which amongst others, boasts an intriguing hybrid cocktail - the Hot Chinese
Winter Punch uses a delicate sweet chocolate tea from China mixed with deep
spicy Zacapa Centenario rum and a stick of cinnamon bark. The seasonal menu -
Available from November 5th – also includes delicate soft shell crab, sweet yin
yong pork and shanghaitese xiaolongbao soup dumplings.
With the launch taking place this week, things are getting
steamy at London Designer Outlet. The
Capital’s first outlet centre, located at Wembley Park will launch to the
public 24 October with more than 80% of its 100 units leased, with retailers
from high end labels L.K. Bennett, Superdry and Guess, to high street staples
Marks & Spencer, GAP and Clarks.
