Curry Cuisine Launches New Online Shop To Meet Growing Demand For Retail Products
Yorkshire's multi award winning food and cookery business,
Curry Cuisine, the brainchild of husband and wife team, Paresh and Prett
Tejura, has launched a new online shop to meet the growing national consumer
demand for its retail range of traditionally handcrafted chutneys, jams,
condiments and spice mixes www.currycuisine.co.uk. The continuing growth of the
business led Curry Cuisine to create two stand alone, but interlinking and
complementary websites to differentiate its cookery and retail divisions.
The new cookery school website
www.currycuisinecookeryschool.co.uk is more informative and focussed on the
range of courses and events available.
As an ex management accountant with blue chip and training expertise,
Prett also offers bespoke corporate events, enjoyed by leading companies such
as HBOS and Bradford & Bingley, bringing staff out of their normal working
environment to interact and team build in a shared cookery experience. The
website also links to the company's online spice shop.
The enterprising pair created the company out of a genuine
love and passion for cooking Indian food and exploring the diverse cultures and
regions of India. Originally founded as a cookery school, Prett's commercial
flair enabled it to flourish and in 2009 saw it diversify into manufacturing
for retail. The family recipes were so well received by customers for their
truly authentic taste and fusion flavours, that demand was created to develop a
retail range.
Curry Cuisine became a family affair with Prett's husband,
Paresh joining the company. Capitalising on his food manufacturing background
Paresh was instrumental in helping Prett to create and develop a range of spice
mixes for customers to cook real Indian dishes at home. This developed further
with the introduction of their own range of fusion chutneys and pickles under a
sub-brand - Chutnees Handmade - in their SALSA accredited manufacturing site in
Dewsbury, West Yorkshire - the majority of which went on to pick up numerous
awards. The couple's new Scrummee spice-inspired jams and fruit sauce range is
the latest exciting development to hit retailers.
Customers can now buy the entire range online, all made with
natural ingredients that are fused with complementing spices to create exciting
and unique flavours, as well as essential cookware and a gift range. Visitors to the website can find stockists in
their area, as well as simple, family-inspired recipes to cook at home.
Curry Cuisine is now able to supply all its products in
catering sizes, ranging from 1kg, 5kg and 10kg and has also introduced a new
service to make own label products in customer branding and to customer
recipes, which will be produced at its West Yorkshire manufacturing site.
Paresh Tejura, director, Curry Cuisine said: "As demand
has grown for both our retail product range and our cookery school courses, we
are delighted to now be able to differentiate our offers in two new websites -
we hope these are now more clear and offer concise messaging and that the
online shop will increase our national customer base further."
