Diets and the New Year.
Well it is all over for another year and you have probably
like every one else in the land had to much to eat , drink and now feel that
you have over done every thing. I know I did no new years day.
So you are probably thinking of going on a diet and getting healthy,
and want to know what is the best way of going about it. You probably are thinking about joining a Gym,
and why not the actual memberships to health clubs and gyms go threw the roof
in the month of January and it is well know that they join go for one or two
times and then never do it again .
So here is my advice if you are thinking of doing any thing
like this. And no matter what diet book
your read or what plan you go on or what doctor you talk to all you have to remember
is this
Eat less and do more.
You eat less food and do more exorcise and you will find
that you will lose weight. Its not difficult really but that is the basic diet industry
in a nut shell , and it is worth thousands and thousands of pounds, and that is
pounds sterling , not just pounds and ounces .
Now I am not a dilatation and I would always say go see yore
doctor if you are serous about losing weight if you think it is that much of a
problem. However, if you want to know
the basic about food and diet advice it is this.
Your body needs fuel to burn and it gets it from two main sources
one is fat and the other is carbohydrates.
Now do not worry to much about what is what , but think about how your
body uses them .
Carbohydrates are a great sores of energy and you can burn
them fast and give you all the energy you need.
In most of our diets, you get loads of carbohydrates, potatoes, rice
bread pasta, just loads.
Fats are a good source of energy as well but unlike carbohydrates
your body can do something different with them it can store them away. It is all part of when we wander the great savannah
and you would not know where your next meal was coming from. But unfortunately we now no longer have to do
that most of us in the western world do not worry about where our next meal is
coming from .
Also you mix the two together carbohydrates and fat and you
get some great foods like chips, pastry, cream cakes or cheese on toast. That is the down side as all the really bad
food taste so good and is hard to resist.
So my diet plan is this, to stat with try not to eat as little
as possible potatoes bread pasta or rice.
This should help you burn of more fat.
Then cut down on fat and fatty food try and eat lean meat and fish no
butter and you will be on the way. And finally walk every where as much as possible
take the stares not the lift and just do more.
Finlay do not expect weight to fall of in just a few days. It
will take a little time , most things do . And remember all you have to do is ,
Eat less and do more.
