Celebrity Touch Adds Star Quality To Tideford Organics Soups

Award-winning, artisan soup producer Tideford Organics has called on world renowned chefs Aldo Zilli, Mark Hix and Mitch Tonks to create three divine new soups.  Launching exclusively in Selfridges, London during the Soil Association's Organic September, Tideford Organics' delicious organic and gluten free 'celebrity chefs' soup range is guaranteed to create quite a stir.

The exciting three new flavours are Mitch Tonks' Smoked Haddock Chowder with Organic Leeks and Peas, Mark Hix's Celeriac and Apple soup and Aldo Zilli's Tuscan Bean soup.

Leading chef, award-winning food writer and seafood champion Mitch Tonks' Smoked Haddock Chowder with Organic Leeks and Peas is lovingly produced by Tideford Organics to Mitch's signature chowder recipe.  Using naturally smoked haddock caught off the South West coast, this thick, creamy and mouth-watering chowder is a hearty dish and great served with fresh warm bread.

Celebrated for his original take on British gastronomy, chef and food writer Mark Hix's Celeriac and Apple soup is certain to warm you on a cold winter's day.  Brimming with unforgettable flavours, Mark's vegan soup is made using English apples.  A simple combination of autumn fruit and vegetables with a gentle hint of celery, this seasonal recipe doesn't contain anything which wouldn't be found in your kitchen cupboard at home.

Famed for his innovative London restaurants and regular appearances on both TV and radio, Italian chef Aldo Zilli has shared one of his favourite soup recipes with Tideford Organics.  Made in Tideford's Devon kitchen, Aldo's Tuscan Bean soup is packed full of organic sun-ripened Italian tomatoes, chickpeas, haricot beans and fresh vegetables from Riverford Organic Farms.  To finish, the soup is expertly seasoned using garlic, crushed black pepper, rosemary and thyme.

All of the tasty soups in the 'celebrity chefs' range are organic, gluten free and available in a 600g pot size priced at RRP £3.49.  The soups are available to purchase from Selfridges, Ocado, Whole Foods, Planet Organic, As Nature Intended, Partridges and many other well-known independents throughout the UK.

In addition to the exciting 'celebrity chefs' range, Tideford Organics has been busy developing a new autumn and winter range full of delicious 'free from' recipes, all low in fat, low in salt and with no added sugar.  This tempting gluten free range is made using an array of super foods with flavours including Winter Beetroot soup with Curly Kale, Sweet Potato soup with Chia Seed and Quinoa and Red Lentil soup with Apricots and Crushed Chillies.  To celebrate the launch of these heavenly varieties Tideford Organics is generously donating ten pence from every pot of Sweet Potato soup with Chia Seed and Quinoa sold to the RSPB, the country's largest nature conservation charity.  The soups are available in a 600g pot size (RRP £2.79) and can be purchased from Ocado, Planet Organics, Whole Foods and all well-known independents nationwide.

Every September the Soil Association aims to change consumer habits and promote organic produce through their innovative initiative, Organic September.  Throughout this year's month long campaign they'll be encouraging individuals to make changes to individual items in their basket, making a Small Change in their everyday lives in order to make a Big Difference.  To help promote the campaign Tideford Organics is offering 20% off their soups and sauces range during September.  So why not try one of their delightful soups as one of your Small Changes?

Tideford Organics believes that delicious, healthy food can only be made with organic ingredients that are farmed responsibly with no artificial pesticides or fertilisers.  Tideford Organics is particularly proud of the fact that they don't add anything that wouldn't be found in your kitchen cupboard.  The colours and flavours come from using organic vegetables, herbs and spices and are slowly cooked.
