Caledonian Brewery to Tantalise the Tastebuds of Festivalgoers Across Edinburgh

Caledonian Brewery is inviting festivalgoers to visit an exciting list of bars especially activated from the 5th to 29th August in Edinburgh during its Festival Fringe. The brewery recently renewed and extended its partnership with the Fringe Society with a three-year deal to continue to support the world's largest arts festival while raising awareness of Caledonian's Scottish brewing heritage.

Andy Maddock, Managing Director of Caledonian Brewery, commented:“Caledonian is a true institution in Edinburgh and we're very proud to sponsor our city's Festival. The partnership with the Fringe Society will offer visitors the chance to see a different side to Edinburgh. We want festivalgoers to make the most of this year's Fringe and we are looking forward to seeing them experience an unforgettable and undiscovered side to our city and Caledonian.”

The extension of the partnership will see Caledonian Brewery continuing its sponsorship of venue boards and Fringe map, as well as supporting the Friends of the Fringe membership scheme. The sponsorship will raise awareness of the iconic Edinburgh brewery and its heritage, and encourage visitors to seek Caledonian ranges on shelf.

From the latest modern additions such as Coast to Coast, Three Hop and Rare Red to the traditional classics, the whole range of Caledonian craft beers will be available across a variety of venues at Fringe and around the city:

Hop Scotch, George Street

Caledonian's recently-launched craft beers Three Hop, Coast to Coast and Rare Red will be the guest stars of the on-street bar outside boutique hotel, bar and restaurant Tigerlily on George Street, which will be fully pedestrianised and licensed from the 5th – 28th August.

Underbelly, George Square Gardens

Beer lovers will find Caledonian's latest modern craft additions at the craft bar: American pale ale Coast to Coast, Three Hop craft lager and rye ale Rare Red.

Assembly, George Square Gardens

As one of the Festival's main hubs, the Assembly cask bar will be serving our traditional craft ales Edinburgh Castle, Golden XPA and Edinburgh's much-loved Deuchars IPA. Caledonian will also be hosting a Caledonian bar at the exclusive VIP Club Bar.

The Scottish Café, The Mound

The award-winning Scottish Café at the Scottish National Gallery will be charming drinkers with the innovative flavours of Three Hop, Coast to Coast and Rare Red.
