03 Dec 12
NEW YORK: Belvedere Vodka, the world's first super premium
vodka took over Manhattan's Meatpacking district with a spectacular light show
and music experience with electro-funk DJ duo Chromeo-DJ set to celebrate World
AIDS Day.
Guests took to the streets of New York City to watch the
area become illuminated in red against the backdrop of 20ft white neon trees to
help Belvedere Vodka and (RED)™ raise awareness around the beginning of the end
of AIDS - meaning the virtual elimination of the HIV virus from mothers to
their babies and achieving the first AIDS-free generation born by 2015.
Music fans joined the world's most renowned names in film,
music and entertainment to be immersed in music and light in a free, outdoor
nightclub in the heart of the city as a tribute to (RED)TM. The event unveiled
a unique 250 liter red metallic (BELVEDERE)RED bottle for the first time on US
shores which served as a symbol of celebration of Belvedere's partnership with
(RED). The bottle was received a 'written' seal of approval from Shay Mitchell,
Kelly Rutherford, Alan Cumming, Mia Moretti, Neon Hitch, Angela Martini,
Jessica White, Carrie Keagan, Bridget Kelly, Jennifer Williams, Sky Nellor,
Prodigy, Bip Ling, Andre Balazs and Andrej Pejic who autographed the Special
Edition bottle.
Guests partied to Chromeo-DJ set's tracks which included
Prince's 'I Wanna Be Your Lover', Chromeo 'Bonafied Lovin' RAC Mix and 'Hot
Mess' Oliver remix whilst sipping delicious Belvedere cocktails such as
(BELVEDERE)RED Solstice, (BELVEDERE)RED Sunset and (BELVEDERE)REDUltimate
Martini at Bagatelle NYC.
