Inka Charcoal Oven helps Aiden Byrne to AA Restaurant of the Year Success!

October 2012

Aiden Byrne and his flagship restaurant, the Church Green Bar and Grill in Lymm, Cheshire has recently added a prestigious award to their name, having been awarded the much-coveted AA Restaurant of the Year - England award 2012/13, thanks in just a small way to the Inka charcoal oven.

Announced at the end of last month, the award recognises restaurants that provide cuisine of a truly excellent standard, as well as demonstrating innovation and ambience and providing a high standard of hospitality.

Speaking at the awards, Aiden enthused:

“The Church Green Bar and Grill has been a labour of love, since we took it over.  As the first establishment to install the Inka charcoal oven, we were able to get ahead of the competition and expand our menu into new areas.  The Inka oven has allowed us to be innovative with our dishes and bring something different to our customers.”

An Inka Charcoal Oven is a ‘closed barbecue’ that delivers all the excitement, flavours and aromas of barbecue cooking, in the safe, contained environment of an oven.  Boasting a glass fronted door, which can withstand temperatures up to 750ºC, the oven utilises coconut charcoal, which burns at a higher temperature than wood charcoal, and produces a “flameless” burn – even when in contact with fat.  Virtually smokeless to keep your restaurant and kitchen free from soot, the Inka charcoal oven comes with re-moveable tilted shelves for easy cooking control and a built-in firebreak and ash-box for the clean and easy removal of ashes.

Inka Charcoal ovens are available in a range of sizes.  For further information about Inka Charcoal Ovens please visit www.inka.co.uk or call 0845 495 1196.
