Nordic Organic Food Fair Opens Visitor Registration For 2014
Visitor
registration for Nordic Organic Food Fair is now officially open for 2014. Returning to Malmö, Sweden, on 26-27 October,
today’s announcement kicks off the countdown to what is fast becoming
established as the premier international event for the Nordic region’s natural
and organic food sector.
Fantastic,
inspiring, busy, and vibrant – these are just some of the words to feature in
last year’s post show feedback, which also revealed that nearly three quarters
of visitors were planning to return to Malmö in October. Those that do, will discover a host of new
exhibiting companies to welcome them.
Recent new
additions to the show’s exhibitor line-up include Scandinavian brands Menigo,
Scandinavian Organics, and Mannavita Norway.
Whilst BioZentrale, Intra Europa, Barnhouse Natureprodukte GmbH,
LifeFood, Noble House, Rumveld, Machu Picchu Foods, Silver Leaf, Coco Zumi,
Kush Shellfish, and BioLab are just a few of the first time international
exhibitors which will be benefitting from the show’s significant 120% increase
in exhibition space.
Strong
exhibitor uptake, particularly from outside Scandinavia, has prompted the
show’s expansion for 2014; reflecting the importance this region plays in many
international company’s expansion strategies.
LOOV – Power of Nature (Estonia), DO-IT Dutch Organic International
Trade and BioBandits (The Netherlands), Bohlsner Muhle and Topas Klaus Gaiser
(Germany), AT&B and Con Marche Bio (Italy), and Clearspring (UK), are just
a few returning exhibitors hoping for a repeat of last year’s packed
aisles. They join leading Scandinavian
suppliers Biova Sweden, A la eco, HGM Drykservice AB, V-Sell Ekologiska
Produkter, and Biogan A/S.
Several new
pavilions will also be making their debut.
BiolItalia and Extenda – Trade Promotion Agency of Andalusia are both
busy preparing to showcase their country’s latest organic delicacies and
speciality ingredients. They join
pavilions from KRAV Sweden, the UK’s Soil Association, Agrarmarketing
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and Demeter Biodynamic.
Attracting
3,158 attendees from 67 different countries to its launch event, including
thousands of visiting retailers and foodservice professionals, has already won
Nordic Organic Food Fair widespread support from across Scandinavia and
beyond. It’s also helped to secure the
show another industry award nomination.
Just months
after being named a finalist in the Best International Launch category at the
UK’s Exhibition News Awards in April 2014, Nordic Organic Food Fair, alongside
its sister event Natural Products Scandinavia, has been shortlisted for ‘Best
Tradeshow Exhibition (UK & International) under 2,000sq.m’ by the
Association of Event Organisers’ in their annual Excellence Awards.
With the AEO
Awards ceremony in London just a few weeks away, the events’ legion of
supporters (and their organiser Diversified Communications UK) don’t have too
long a wait.
