Yorkshire Food Company Spreads The Word On Its Gourmet Scrummee Jams
Yorkshire food and cookery company, Curry Cuisine, is set to
launch its new gourmet Scrummee jam range at the only farm retail trade show in
the region, Farm & More. The 3-day
trade show and conference, held 10-13 February at the Yorkshire Showground in
Harrogate, is organised by FARMA, a co-operative of farmers, producers selling
on a local scale and farmers markets organisers.
Curry Cuisine has extended its Scrummee fruit sauce range,
with a new jazzed up jam collection, including Raspberry and Black Pepper, Plum
and Cinnamon, Kiwi and Lime and Strawberry and Cardamon varieties. These spice inspired jams have been developed
to add a new twist to the breakfast condiment sector, as well as being ideal
for cooking and are aimed at the independent retail, deli and farm retail
markets.
The Scrummee sauce and jam range will be showcased alongside
the company's award winning, chutnees handmade range.
As the only farm diversification event, specifically
designed for farm shops, farmers markets, farm cafes, pick your own and on farm
attractions, this is the ideal platform to spread the word about its new jam
range and chutneys offer, as the show attracts hundreds of farm retailers from
across the UK and beyond.
Paresh Tejura, director, Curry Cuisine commented: "We
believe that it's time to invigorate and excite people's tastebuds at breakfast
time hence our new gourmet jam range.
They will add a new dimension to the condiment market and help
differentiate the offering with the farm retail market."
