More Stars Join The Line-Up At The Cake & Bake Show Manchester Including Paul Hollywood




The Cake & Bake Show - the UK's biggest experiential event dedicated to all things baking - is proud to announce that Paul Hollywood, Dan Lepard, Simon Rimmer and Andrew Nutter will be at the show in
Manchester. They will join Mary Berry, Eric Lanlard, Peter Sidwell, Mich Turner and all of the contestants from Great British Bake Off 2012.

Expanding to three days, the Cake & Bake Show Manchester brings together all of the nation's favourite baking stars on April 5-7. Paul Hollywood, the UK's most famous bread maker and judge on the Great British Bake Off returns to the show, demonstrating on the main Bakery Stage and hosting live bake offs on Grainchain.com's stand on the Sunday.

Award-winning baker and food writer Dan Lepard will be headlining the Competitions Theatre sponsored by Sainsbury's. As well as his books, which include The Handmade Loaf and most recently Short and Sweet, he writes for Sainsbury's magazine and has a weekly baking column in the Guardian. He is also a judge on
the Australian Bake Off.

Simon Rimmer, co-presenter and chef on Channel 4's hit weekend show Sunday Brunch, will be appearing at the show on Friday and Saturday. He runs two restaurants in the Greater Manchester area, Earle and Greens and has authored several cookbooks, the next of which is due out in Spring 2013.

Local celebrity chef Andrew Nutter will also be presenting at the show. He has received numerous awards including Manchester Chef of the Year in 2012 for his restaurant Nutters.

In addition to celeb baker demos and delicious cakes and bakes in the marketplace, features at the Cake & Bake Show Manchester include Baking Mad's stand with live demonstrations from some of the shows stars, the Competitions Theatre sponsored by Sainsbury's where members of the public will be invited to compete alongside stars of the Great British Bake Off and Britain's Best Bakery, the Cake Catwalk - a
fashionista-themed cake competition, a Billington's giant gingerbread village, and The Lakeland Interview Stage - offering visitors the chance to quiz their favourite baking celebrities.

Visitors will also be able to book classes in the Classrooms - where baking experts will host 30 minute demonstrations covering a range of topics, as well as sessions in The Sugarcraft Academy, sponsored by
Renshaw, plus new for this year - VIP tickets will be available, guaranteeing fast track entry into the show, and a front row seat at a main stage demonstration of their choice. For full details visit
